Conditions générales d'utilisation de la plateforme

Platform terms

Last updated 9 October 2026

These terms govern the use of the ATELIA platform: the student space and the company space. You accept them when you open an account. The public website has its own terms, and how we handle personal data is set out in the privacy policy.

Who can use the platform

  • Students of a school or university that works with ATELIA, with the email address their school gave them.
  • People from a partner company, invited by ATELIA with their work email address.

One account per person, in your own name. You keep your password to yourself; anything done from your account is taken to be done by you, unless you tell us it was compromised.

What ATELIA provides

Cases (questions brought by companies or written by ATELIA), short classes in Learn, the tools to work as a team (a shared repository among them), and written feedback on what your team hands in. Feedback is written to the team and is not a grade: ATELIA gives no score and no ranking. If your school grades the work, it does so under its own rules.

Using the platform as a student is free. Optional paid services, such as a certificate, will be offered separately, with their price shown before you choose them.

What we ask of you

  • Hand in work your team did. Using AI tools is the point; passing off someone else's work is not.
  • Keep a case's material to your team. Briefs and data rooms can be confidential: do not publish or pass them on without ATELIA's written agreement.
  • Do not put other people's personal data into the platform or your repository unless the case asks for it.
  • Treat teammates, companies and the ATELIA team with respect.
  • Do not try to reach data that is not yours, to disrupt the service, or to get around its limits.

The prompt log

When your team works in its repository, the prompts written to AI tools are kept in a file in that repository. You agree that ATELIA reads them to write your team's feedback. They are not used to score you, and they are not shown to your school or to the company. The privacy policy says how long they are kept.

Who owns the work

Work done on a company's case follows the terms issued with that case, which say before you start who owns the deliverables and what stays confidential. Unless those terms say otherwise, your team keeps what it builds. ATELIA only shows a team's work publicly without names, and takes it down whenever the team asks.

Suspension and closing

You can close your account at any time from Account and data. ATELIA may suspend an account that breaks these terms, after telling its holder why, except where the breach puts others at risk and calls for immediate action.

Availability and liability

We do our best to keep the platform running and your work safe, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. Keep a copy of anything that matters to you outside the platform. ATELIA is not liable for indirect losses, nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow to be limited, and the protections you hold as a consumer are not affected.

Changes and law

If these terms change in a way that matters, account holders are told by email before the change applies. They are governed by French law; any dispute falls to the competent courts of [jurisdiction, per the company's statutes], subject to the mandatory protections available to consumers.
